Despite still experiencing a few sunny days, there’s nothing like savoring every spooky, rainy day to remind us that fall is here. But rain or shine, the Fishbowl Fest team has been hard at work honing in details and we’re excited to present what we’ve been doing since our last check in.

Admittedly, during Fishbowl Fest’s first community day the turn out was not great but the time spent was not wasted. We were still able to connect with the employees at Onit Cafe, network with the community and set up some posters. Between it being our first community event and us being a brand new convention, I had low expectations. Nonetheless it was an excellent learning opportunity and we intend to keep the ball rolling.
Join us for our next community event at the King County Federal Way Library on 1st Avenue. This is NOT organized by Fishbowl Fest but is a public event hosted by the King County Library System. There, we can meet for a fun creative activity in support of our local library (and it's FREE!). Instruction will be limited but this could be a great opportunity to just dive in and maybe make a friend or two! So swim thru with a small sewing project and let's work on it together.

I'm so proud to have such a strong core of amazing and experienced people helping put this event together but it definitely takes a village. Join our team and be a part of Federal Way's first anime/pop-culture convention with the perks of helping build it!
As a volunteer, you will be there to support our Leads while gaining some experience in the arts. This is a great opportunity for those interested being around working artists and creatives or for those curious about running events like Fishbowl Fest.

Exhibitor Hall Applications Now Open!
Artist Alley Coming Soon!
Getting things ready for our artist alley applications is taking a little longer than expected so the applications will be available by Friday, October 16th. Be sure to keep a lookout on our Instagram page.
The exhibitor hall on the other hand is ready to go! This will be the first location all attendees will pass through guaranteeing the eyes of every attendee. It will also be sharing the same location as our local food vendor. Table spaces are limited and applications will be reviewed and approved on a first come first serve basis with a priority on local Federal Way businesses and organizations.
