Signal to your community as a pillar for the arts
and introduce yourself to a new audience.
With your help, any-fin is possible! Benefits include affordable and beneficial marketing packages, event perks and the warm fuzzy feeling you get knowing you were a year one sponsor. Located in our small big city of Federal Way (Washington’s 10th most populated city), we are determined to fulfill the need for a local anime/pop-culture convention.
Outside of our area, the closest major anime/pop-culture conventions are either in Seattle, Puyallup or Olympia. For some that may not be far, but we hope to allow a space for our local artists to experience, practice, display or perform their art in a safe space. This means family and friends coming to support their loved ones and folks who travel far and wide to these types of events. These art conventions are also opportunities where people sell their wares, compete in art contests, perform in cosplay, attend panels to exchange knowledge, find community through fandoms and more!
The recent build of the light rail has increased access for our city (which is great!). This means people who wouldn't normally come to Federal Way can attend! As attendees, artists and organizers of these events, our team understands that going into large out of town conventions can be overwhelming, expensive, tiring, intimidating or maybe even inaccessible especially for first-timers. At Fishbowl Fest, we bring the magic here.
